Taxation of Real Property

Taxation of Real Property is a course intended to provide a general overview of the assessment and valuation of real property in the Commonwealth of Virginia as it pertains to the offices of Commissioners of the Revenue or other assessing officials. The course provides information on the rules, dates, organization and procedures for the administration of a real property assessing office.

The in person course format is a two (2) day offering finishing with an exam after the review concludes on Day 2.

• Registration begins at 8:30 on Day 1.
• Instruction begins at 9:00 am each day, unless the instructor requests otherwise.
• Lunch will be provided on Day 1. Snacks and drinks will be provided each day.
