Real Estate Appraisal is a course intended to provide guidance related to the assessment and valuation of real property in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The course provides information related to appraisal methods and techniques for the valuation process.

This is an online class. Each class will divided into 4 sessions.

• Session 1: a brief check-in at 3:00 pm to make sure that all students are able to connect to the class in Zoom. You are not required to connect with video but it highly recommended. If you do not have access to a camera, you will still be able to see and interact with the class; however, the other participants will not be able to see you.
• Session 2: class instruction from 9:00 am – 12 noon. There will be breaks and time allowed for Q & A.
• Session 3: class instruction from 9:00 am – 12 noon. There will be breaks and time allowed for Q & A.
• Session 4: class review and exam. Class review will begin at 9:00 am. The exam will be available at noon. The exam is administered through UVACollab.
