Constitutional Officers Legislative Days in Richmond

Kim Matthews is coordinating a tour of the Capitol on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. There is no cost to participate. If you would like to attend, be sure to answer the tour question on the registration form.

Agenda Highlights

• Hospitality Room on Sunday & Monday evenings at the Omni sponsored by Avenity & American Business Solutions
• Sunday Board Meeting:  3:00 pm
• Monday Breakfast: 7:30 am – 8:30 am
• Monday Sessions: 8:30 am – 11:50 am and 1:45 pm – 3:30 pm
• Monday VALECO Luncheon: 11:50 am – 1:30 pm (separate registration required)
• Tuesday Breakfast: 7:30 am – 8:30 am

Registration fee is $85 and includes continental breakfast (Monday), breaks, and breakfast buffet (Tuesday) plus handouts. There is no lunch with the education program; we encourage attendees to register separately for VALECO’s 50th annual meeting and luncheon. When you register, remember to check off if you are staying through Tuesday morning and eating breakfast.

The Education Program is worth: 2 points for Commissioners of the Revenue plus 1 additional point if you attend the VALECO annual meeting

Lodging at the Omni Richmond

Our room block is sold out for Monday night. If you are only staying Sunday night, they still have rooms. If you need a room for both nights see the info in the attached agenda on the overflow hotel, The Berkeley Hotel, which is diagonally across the street from the Omni.

Parking

Valet Parking: $38 per night with unlimited in and out.

Self Parking: $36 full day in James Center garage underneath the hotel – self parking does not have in and out privileges

On Tuesday visit your Senators and Delegates – Senators and Delegates are in the General Assembly Building at 201 N. Ninth Street. Talking sheets will be sent out ahead of time and will be available/discussed during the Legislative Info session on Monday.
