Land Use Taxation

A course intended to provide a detailed explanation of the Special Assessment for Land Preservation (Land Use) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The course provides information related to the categories of Land Use, eligibility for participation, determination of land values and penalties for removal or disqualification.

The in person course format is a two (2) day offering finishing with an exam after the review concludes on Day 2. The exam will be proctored online through UVACollab.

• Registration begins at 8:30 on Day 1.
• Instruction begins at 9:00 am each day, unless the instructor requests otherwise.
• Lunch will be provided on Day 1. Snacks and drinks will be provided each day.
