CONFERENCE AGENDA:

The Arrangements Committee has planned a great event packed with information and entertainment. Click this link for a tentative conference agenda – the agenda is subject to change until the start of the conference.

Some highlights from the conference activities include:

• Hanging out at Ruby’s Arcade on Saturday evening – sponsored by West Central 
  • Seating is limited for the event so if you want to attend, be sure to register early.
  • There is an additional fee, separate from the conference fee, of $20 for the event.
• Golf Tournament on Sunday afternoon at the Lakeview Golf Club – sponsored by Vision

  • There is an additional fee, separate from the conference fee, of $72 to play.
• Opening Reception on Sunday evening at the Hotel Madison – sponsored by Avenity
• Shenanigans at the Arena on Monday evening
• President’s Reception, Banquet and Installation of Officers at the Hotel Madison on Tuesday evening.

LODGING:        We are currently trying to add more rooms. Please be patient and we will notify you when you can book.

HOTEL MADISON: Room rates are $129.00 for single/double occupancy. Click here to reserve a room online. All rooms must be reserved by August 25, 2023.

• Check in time is 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.

REGISTRATION FEE:

The conference registration fee is $425 per attendee. A reduced fee registration is available to spouses and/or retirees for $300. PLEASE NOTE: The spouse/retiree fee is not available to CORs or staff currently employed in a locality.

Registration fees can be paid by credit card through the PayPal link or by check. Checks should be made payable to the Commissioner of the Revenue Association of Virginia and mailed to either Scott Harris or Amy Johnson at PO Box 129, Hanover, VA, 23069.

If you need to pay for a portion of the fee separately, such as you are paying for the conference fee with county funds and for the early arrival event with personal funds, it is not a problem to split the payment between payment types. Multiple payments are allowed. Contact Amy Johnson with any questions about how to accomplish this.
